Empathy cards..acknowledging miscarriage..
Updated: Apr 18, 2019
Pregnancy loss can be devastating and because of the taboo surrounding pregnancy loss generally people don't know what to say. The Miscarriage Association has launched a range of very unique and beautifully simple cards to recognise the loss and pain of miscarriage. This can be of benefit to both the giver and receiver and hopefully will lead to more open discussion on the topic of pregnancy loss. Whats more is the thoughtful designs were created by women who have been through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy or molar pregnancy themselves and know what it is like. Family and friends will be able to feel they are helping in some small way too by acknowledging the pain of miscarriage and showing they are there to support. Inside the cards are details of support services. There are four different designs and they will be sold through Postmark and all proceeds go to the Miscarriage Association.
Let's all help break the taboo and get people talking more openly about pregnancy loss – face-to-face, on social media and in the news.
Please help us to spread the message far and wide so that these very special cards can end up in the hands of those who need them.
